Kaimetrix is hiring a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to deliver critical, around-the-clock support to space command and control systems at the 18 SDS. This role ensures real-time mission readiness and the secure operation of classified systems in a high-availability environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support 24/7 mission operations with system troubleshooting and technical monitoring.

  • Perform system diagnostics, respond to anomalies, and escalate as required.

  • Maintain situational awareness across all operational environments.

  • Adhere to DoD cybersecurity and operational compliance standards (DoDD 8140.01 / DoDI 8570.01).

Location:  Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB), CA

Clearance: TS/SCI

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: 5–7 years

Certifications: IAT Level I or II

Hours: Rotating 24/7 Shift Coverage

The salary range for this position is $125,000 to $135,000 annually. The actual offer will depend on experience and qualifications.

For California-based roles, we are only considering candidates for W-2 employee status.
